How does Shopee affiliate commission work in Thailand?
Shopee Thailand's Affiliate Program has two ways to earn:
- Pay per sale: put your affiliate link on your social media or website, or add products to the shopping bag in your Shopee Video, and earn when buyers complete a purchase.
- Pay per post: affiliates invited by Shopee can agree a fee per post with a seller.

Which categories sell more on Shopee Thailand than in Taiwan?
Using Shopee's official affiliate API, we searched the same 20 everyday categories in Taiwan and Thailand, each in the local language, took the top 50 sellers by sales and compared the medians (measured 2026-10-10). Thailand came out ahead in 11 of the 20, and overall the two are in the same range (median of the per-category ratios: 1.08x).

How should you read these numbers?
Each figure is the median sales of the top 50 products in one category. Beauty, small appliances and everyday goods have plenty of strong sellers in Thailand, with body lotion and lipstick at five times Taiwan's. The women's bags ratio is high because the Taiwanese search term we used has a low median, so that ratio depends heavily on the keyword; treat it as a rough guide.
How do you make Shopee Videos that work in Thailand?
Shopee Thailand's terms clearly favour content with substance. This is what they ask of affiliate content:
- Make original content with a point of view. The terms ask for content that reflects your own view, experience or creativity, not just a product image with a link.
- Speak Thai. Present in Thai, in situations Thai buyers recognise, so the video feels native to the feed.
- Keep your channels public, and use a Facebook fan page. Affiliate media must be publicly accessible.
- Link to Shopee only. No links to other marketplaces, and follow Thai consumer-protection and advertising rules.
